Editorial and medical review policy

We state openly how content is created, checked and updated, including what we have not yet verified.

Our principles

  • Every medical statement cites a public source the reader can verify independently.
  • We never use words like “cure” or “guaranteed result” for interventions that remain investigational.
  • Hospital information and scientific evidence are clearly separated on every page.
  • Where no identifiable physician reviewer is confirmed, we mark it unverified rather than inventing names or licence numbers.

Content updates

We label dates by their verifiable meaning, such as original publication, editorial update or source check. We do not invent dates when the source provides none, and use “medically reviewed” only after a physician reviewer is verified.
